- Extremely close proximity to hospitals, university, shops, restaurants, coffee shops, and entertainment: Easy walking distance to several major medical facilities/hospitals, and an similarly short (5-10 minute) drive to the University of Wisconsin-Madison campus, along with easy access to bus lines, and bike trails. Walkable to several local restaurants and a great coffee shop. Very short drive (5 minutes) to Hilldale mall, groceries, Target, and other conveniences. Also, you're just minutes away from Camp Randall Stadium and the vibrant Monroe Street shops and restaurants. Best of all, you're in the perfect location for enjoying evening strolls through a gorgeous neighborhood without the noise (the street and neighbors are lovely and quiet for a good night's rest). Don't want to go out? Relax on the couch or in the swing in the sunroom, or watch one of the two TVs.

- Cooking/Baking: Despite the silly sign that says the kitchen is for display only, please feel free to enjoy home-cooked meals! Note: you must use only the microwave function on the microwave, not the oven function. If you need the oven, please use the new standard oven below the cooktop stove.
- Respect the Peace--No Parties or Excessively Loud Music/Quiet Hours: Keeping noise levels down helps maintain a good relationship with our community and avoids you experiencing any neighbor complaints. Kindly observe quiet hours between 10 p.m. and 8 a.m.
- Smoke-Free Stay: Our home is a strict no-smoking zone (including vaping/e-cigarettes), which helps us maintain a fresh environment.
- No Extra Guests: If you plan to have visitors during the day, no problem. But please make sure the only guests who stay overnight are those listed in your reservation. This helps us follow local ordinances on maximum occupancy and keep our home comfortable and safe for everyone.
- Pet Policy: As much as we love them, we're strictly a pet-free home, which includes animals of all types.
- Supplies provided: To make your stay comfortable and give you less to think about when you first arrive, we've provided travel-size shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. We've also provided a starter pack of dishwasher soap and pods, coffee, and oatmeal. PLUS, to help keep our home as scent-free as possible, we've provided you with ample laundry detergent, dryer balls, and soap.
- Trash and Recycling:
Please take out the trash on Wednesday evenings for Thursday pick-up, then pulling the bins back into the garage after pick-up on Thursdays. We appreciate your help in separating recyclables, which are picked up every other week. This small step makes a big difference to the environment and will help us avoid a fine.
- Handling Damages: Accidents happen. If something gets damaged, please let us know so we can take care of it. We do expect that the property be returned to us in the at least the same condition in which you found it when you checked in. We take good care to make sure we're aware of any missing or damaged items. Guests are liable for damages and repairs/replacements at the homeowner's discretion.
- Number of guests: Only the number of guests who've reserved the home are allowed to be in the home. If others are expected, please obtain approval through this portal beforehand.
- Simple Clean-Up: Before you leave, please wash and put away any dishes or kitchenware you've used, so our housekeeper doesn't have any extra work to do when preparing for our next guests.
But please don't feel you have to strip the beds or wipe the floors. We'll take care of that!
- In Case of Emergency:
The fire extinguisher is located under the kitchen sink.
The first aid kit is located in the cabinet of the downstairs bathroom.
The electrical shut-off is located in the garage.
