Positive: Beautiful property with lots of original features. The room was huge and clean.
Negative: View over car park. Balcony not very inviting. Food was hit and miss. Pasta at lunch was lovely but steak at dinner was tough and over cooked. Staff were pleasant enough but could probably be a bit more proactive around the pool (had to hunt for someone to get a drink).
Summary: Very nice but wouldn’t necessarily go back. Nothing wrong with hotel just maybe not for us.
