Summary: We've stayed at this hotel a couple of times over the years, unfortunately it is starting to show some wear and tear. Fortunately, it appears the hotel is scheduled for a refresh this summer. Carpets were worn in high traffic areas, the entertainment center in our room looked like it had been through an earthquake, it sagged in the middle and doors wouldn't shut properly, ice maker on our floor was not in operation, there were dirty plates in the hallway for our entire stay. Sad to see it in a declined state, hopefully the refresh brings it back to the condition we remember. Staff was great at the front desk, downstairs bar and in the restaurant. Our meals for the 200+ person event were very good. Location in downtown Tacoma near the convention center and light rail is great as well.
