Summary: This place had a full-on glowup in their advertising. It is a 'classic' building, meaning walk up to 3rd floor in our case. The entrance off the street is a side door, we didn't see anyone in the 'office' during our time there. They were very responsive to email communication, and their listing was technically accurate, but it was not at all what we expected. The green short term parking zones out front, are only short term until 9pm, so if you arrive late, there is no parking to unload. The area is a mix of hotels & tourist stuff, and services for the unhoused, live in hotels, etc. This hotel itself clearly also rents rooms by the week/month. The kitchenette is spacious by hotel standards and the closet space was great. The beds and bedding were very basic, no extra pillows available in the room. I did like that the windows opened, but there's a lot of action in the area. They don't clean for stays less than 7 days, which tells you what a mix of clientele they have. If you're adventurous and can handle the stairs, then this is a great fit for the price.
