Travel Purpose: leisure
Positive: Clean and comfortable room. The staff was friendly but not as helpful or even aware when we had issue.
Negative: Two nights/early morning were noisy and very challenging to get a good rest. Septic spill on street not only contributed to chaos/noise but smell! The hotel did offer to move us but this was day before checking out. We had all of our belongings put not to mention so much wine from tasting room purchases. Thankfully, smell was gone by evening or we would have had to move. We explained to staff that a worker was hammering in middle of night but they said someone reported it was fixing a bike. That might have also happened but this was worker! Pounding w metal. I think pluming outside hotel that the front desk wasn't aware of. Today the city gardener was very active early. I realize this might just be our bad luck but room picked up outside sounds very clearly.
Summary: Beautiful but very pricy for 2 nights of disturbed sleep.
