Positive: Location! Amazing location. Everything so close. And friendly staff. It was nice to be able to cool off in the pool from the heat of Florence. Comfortable beds and lovely bathroom.
Negative: The photos advertised did not look like reality, especially the pool area - disappointing and not that well kept. The hotel was more dated than the photos made it look - shabby old carpets and corridors. Some areas updated but not consistent. No view in the room - just a wall. Paid for triple beds but there was only two (double and single). Not good value for money.. felt £260 per night was expensive for the standard of the hotel.
Summary: So so.. average but amazing location. No wow factor I was expecting, from the photos advertised.
