Positive: Great central location right opposite the ferry terminal and 2 minutes walk from the whale watching companies. Balcony with nice view of the sea. The staff were very pleasant and let me check in at 8.30 am. I was only expecting to leave my luggage. Wonderful breakfast - 10 different types of cake- need I say more ! There was cooled flavoured water available in the lobby for guests at all times.
Negative: The pictures of whales being butchered in the lobby were upsetting. The bath tub which had the shower over it was quite high and a bit difficult for those with sore knees to step into.
Summary: Comfortable hotel in a great location in beautiful Madalena.
