This is a large home, over 4,500 sqft. It is located in The Galena Territory and is only 10 minutes away from Chestnut Mountain Ski Resort, a few miles from The General Golf Course, and less than 10 minutes to Historic Downtown Galena.
This home is perfect for family vacations. Everyone can spread out. There are two living rooms, a pool/bar area, games and lots of outdoor space for summer fun!
When you rent the home, you also receive five guest passes to The Galena Territory owner's club and all of The Galena Territory Amenities.

Owners' Club
The Pool/Recreation Complex includes a state-of-the-art fitness center with a spectacular view of the valley, spacious locker rooms with a “dry” side for fitness center visitors and a “wet” side for pool visitors, a café with indoor and outdoor patio seating, and of course, three great pools! The outdoor activity pool has a double slide and in-pool seating area; the kiddy pool has bubblers and a frog slide for the kids to enjoy, and the indoor pool is open for swimming year-round. To round out your recreation options, the Owners’ Club has an arts and crafts room, game room and video arcade.
Let us know if you would like reservations for indoor pool lap swimming, and we will make reservations for you. The indoor pool has two lap swimming lanes, and then half of the pool is open for free swim. You don't need reservations for the free swim section.
Pickleball, tennis, and outside basketball courts also require a reservation. Please let us know the date(s) and time(s) you would like reservations for.
The indoor gymnasium, fitness center, and game room do not require a reservation.
Other amenities available in The Galena Territory
Lake Galena & Marina: 225-acre lake that is great for fishing, and boaters who enjoy observing nature on leisurely cruises. It boasts some of the best fishing in the area, with an abundance of smallmouth and largemouth bass, walleye, bluegill, channel catfish, perch, and tiger muskie. The lake is primarily spring fed with a spillway at one end, creating a beautiful 40-foot waterfall called Thunder Bay Falls.
You can rent a boat at the Bait & Tackle Shop. Just bring one of the white proximity cards with you to show you are a guest of an association member.
Greenspace & Trails
More than 1,700 acres of Greenspace (open spaces) scattered throughout The Territory are maintained as natural habitat and protected from future development, including the 7-mile shoreline of Lake Galena. There are 24 miles of trails. The trails closest to Eagle Ridge Resort & Spa are paved and suitable for jogging, power walking and other activities that require sure footing. Some of these trails also have lookout platforms for beautiful panoramas of Lake Galena and the countryside.
Shenandoah Riding Center
They provide you and your family with well-trained horses for all skill levels. Trail riders must be 8 years of age or older and weigh 65-250 pounds. For your protection, we provide friendly and helpful trail guides on all rides, and we do not permit double riding. We recommend all horseback riders wear long pants and heeled closed-toe shoes. Helmets are available free of charge.
