This vacation home is located in Durango. Animas Museum and Durango Discovery Museum are cultural highlights, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at Dalton Ranch Golf Club and Hillcrest Golf Club. Traveling with kids? Don't miss Durango and Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad. This farm style house has plenty of space for everyone. There is a hot tub in the back yard and Trimble Hot Springs is a quarter mile away. New partial remodel and fresh paint, new sheets and newer beds. Smart 55" flat screen TV in the living room. Filtered water and a Kuerig. Check out the pond! Extremely comfortable. Two AC units in the upper level to keep the home cool during summer months. Lower level stays comfortable throughout the day and cools off in the eve. The Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad and downtown are 15 minutes away and Purgatory Mountain Resort is 20 min. PJ's is the local grocery store, although a bit expensive it is great for convenient shopping. Honeyville and James Ranch are both a couple miles away and are must visits. Although totally set up to accommodate a vacation rental, this space has a feel that you are at home when you get there. There is a ditch running behind the house that you can hear when hanging outside or soaking in the hot tub.
Open space in the backyard so excellent hiking anytime. Great views from almost every room in the house.
Please note Box Elder Beetles are present in the late summer period. We use natural methods to deter them, but choose not to use harmful chemicals. As a result some may enter the home in the prime of their hatching.
