Nestled within the picturesque tropical surroundings of the Judy House property are 2 charming self contained cottages and 9 other cozy rooms tailored specifically for backpackers, travellers, and tourists of all ages exploring the vast wonders of the world, the Caribbean region, or just Jamaica.
Judy House and Kim’s Place cottages come equipped with one double bed and one twin bed, accommodating two to three guests comfortably. Featuring screened windows and doors; ensuite hot water bathrooms; fresh linens and towels; fully equipped kitchen or kitchenette; shady verandas with seating and hammocks; private patios (Judy's is great for yoga); AC units; fans; lamps; hairdryers; irons; safes; power and USB ports plus complimentary high speed wifi access for your convenience.
Both 'Judy House' and 'Kim's Place' Self Catering Cottages nestle privately in front of the 1/4 acre property, providing you with the utmost seclusion while still feeling secure. You will feel comfortable and at home with all the modern amenities (Upgraded this year - 2025 with new Air Conditioning units and ceiling fans). The lush gardens that surround the cottages are truly stunning.
The Hostel Rooms, aptly named Mango, Papaya, Banana, and Star Apple, are accommodating spaces, ideal for up to four guests in intimate single rooms. Additionally, Guava and Jackfruit offer two private rooms with two beds each, perfect for a duo seeking a more private retreat. Each hostel room is thoughtfully equipped with single beds, convenient power and USB ports, mosquito nets, individual fans, secure safe boxes, ample storage, and crisp bed linens (towels available upon request).
Excitingly, recent enhancements have been made to the Papaya, Banana, Mango, and Guava rooms, now featuring desks and chairs to cater to digital nomads and guests requiring a workspace during their stay.
Private Rooms
Zoe's Garden Room offers a double private room with a double bed, perfect for one or two guests seeking extra comfort and privacy. This room features an AC unit, hot water en-suite bathroom, private entrance, and a beautiful fenced and gated tropical garden. Ideal for couples or friends, Zoe's Garden Room also includes a desk and chair, fridge/freezer, ceiling fan, hairdryer, iron, coffee/tea making facilities, safe box, power and USB ports plus a garden area with table, chair and sun-loungers..
Further accommodations detached from the hostel area include Micky’s Place, a spacious single room for one guest, located near an outdoor bathroom. This cozy room offers a comfortable 3/4 bed, a reading light, mosquito net, wall fan, tables and chairs, a safe box, power and USB ports plus quality bed linens and towels.
For those seeking a more exclusive experience, Rita's Private Garden Room presents a light-filled double room for solo or dual occupancy, boasting a serene private garden space which provides table, sun umbrella, stools and sun-loungers. This room features a double bed, fridge freezer, reading light, table and chair, mosquito net, safe box, power and USB ports, plus freshly laundered bed linens and towels.

1. Hammock Cabanas - Passion Fruit and Starfruit: Passionfruit features two lovely Mayan hammocks and also offers a library stocked with books in various languages. Starfruit, cool and private with comfortable chairs and a wonderful view of the hammock garden with its variety of fruit trees and flowers. - a perfect retreat for relaxation, napping, or reading, these cabanas also include a bathroom, an outdoor shower and table with benches,

3. Additional Booking Information
a. Upon confirmation of booking & payment of the Hostelworld fee, guests are required to confirm their reservation with The Judy House by providing a CVC for a 50% deposit, the remaining 50% balance is due upon arrival.
b. The Judy House promotes eco-friendly practices such as recycling and composting, encouraging guests to participate in maintaining a sustainable environment.
c. Secure room safe-boxes, guests booking hostel and other rooms are advised to bring their own padlock. Safes are available at Kim's Place and Judy House Cottages.
e. The Judy House upholds a policy of supporting all guests, particularly young, single travellers, and women, ensuring a safe and inclusive environment for everyone.
Just minutes from, restaurants, bars, shows, parties, supermarkets, gift shops, banks, and of course Negril's famous cliffs and 7-mile white sand beach are at your convenience. IMPORTANT PLEASE READ When your booking has been confirmed by Hostelworld and their booking fee charged to you may be contacted Judy House to confirm your booking with them by sending your CVC for your 50% deposit. 50% balance is then due on arrival by card or cash.
NOTE 1:
A local 15 % Tax and $1US per person per night Guest Tax is added by Hostelworld to Cottages, Room & Hostel prices. (Total Room prices including taxes to be paid to Judy House, but not Hostelworld fee which you will have already paid).
NOTE 2: Please do not book the Judy House with the expectation of reserving a cheap hotel room and 5 star hotel services. Members of the Judy House 'Family' are expected to play their part in keeping rooms and communal areas clean during and after use. Judy House is 'Green Globe' and encourages guests to recycle and compost their garbage in the areas provided whenever possible.
NOTE 3: Conserving water and electricity on our beautiful island is always welcomed and necessary.
NOTE 4: Guests booking Hostel and other Rooms should bring their own padlock to secure the room safe-boxes. Safes are provided at Kim's Place and Judy House Cottages.
