At Falling Lakes we are adventure and nature enthusiasts, who are keen to show you what Plitvice Lakes National Park and the surrounding area has to offer. Here is some very useful information before you book with us:
· Location & how to get to us: We are a 15 min drive from Entrance 2 in a town called Korenica. So please book your bus to Korenica and not Plitvice to get to us. You can purchase bus tickets directly online. From the Korenica bus station we are just a 5 min walk.
· Shuttle to the lakes: We offer a daily shuttle (for all guests staying with us, no limit) at 8:00 in the morning, returning at 16:00 to entrance 2, oneway price of the shuttle is 3,50€
· Buying a ticket to Plitvice in advance: we recommend that you buy your ticket in advance for entrance 2, entry between 8:00-9:00 (for this slot) on the national park’s official webpage. There is a significant student discount, so bring any student ID you might have and it should work.
· Outdoor activities: While staying with us, you can take part in many activities, such as: visiting Plitvice, white water kayaking in a canyon north of the lakes, hiking right from the hostel to Mrsinj or Pljesevica mountains, relaxing and going for a swim on the northern banks of the national park, exploring the nearby abandoned airbase with its hangers and tunnels etc. Feel free to visit our website for more information. · Hostel related info / services: Please note that our RECEPTION CLOSES AT 10 pm, so make sure to arrive within our reception hours. E-mail us if you cannot arrive before 10 pm for late check in instructions.
