This delightful cottage situated 4.5 miles from Great Ayton sleeps up to six in two bedrooms.
Horseshoe Cottage is a fantastic barn conversion near Great Ayton. With two bedrooms, a ground floor king-size double and a zip/link twin with sitting area and double sofa bed, this cottage sleeps six people. There is also a ground floor bathroom and a ground floor wet room, as well as a kitchen with dining area. Outside there is a shared utility room, private front and rear patios, off road parking for three cars, and access to acres of shared land, including a picnic area. Horseshoe cottage is fantastic either on its own, or booked with Farrier Cottage.

Summary: This cottage is not suitable for older people, the climb up to it, across mossy stones for me a disabled lady was difficult, the living room is upstairs, not sure if I read that in the ad, I rang and asked if there was a downstairs bedroom because I have spine problems and can’t do stairs,, the answer was yes, but no mention of upstairs sitting room, I had to stay downstairs while my friend and hubby sat upstairs warm, we were cold, the house appears clean and tidy, but I dropped my pen as we were leaving and it rolled under the beds, (which were awful), and my husband lifted up the single bed and it was full of papers, tissues and old sock, just awful, so not an experience I won to to do again, more suitable to walkers and cyclists under 60 I would say, , but the hosts seemed nice,
