Byre cottage is one of five converted barns here at Home Place Farm, which is set in 4.5 acres of private grounds with its own lake. The Jacuzzi hot tub is in the small garden at the front of the cottage. . There’s a sitting room with dining area which leads into a well equipped kitchen. Also downstairs is a bathroom. Upstairs you’ll find 3 bedrooms, the one with the en-suite shower room has a king sized bed. Then there’s a small room with a standard double bed and the third bedroom has 2 single beds that can be made into a large double bed if required. The house will comfortably accommodate 4 people but is cosy if there are 5 guests. Home Place Farm fronts onto the river Bray, on the edge of the small village of Challacombe with its traditional Village Shop and local pub - the Black Venus- which serves great food, just a five minute walk up the lane. Exmoor is famous for its red deer and ponies, spectacular scenery and pretty villages which provide a fabulous environment for holidays and peaceful breaks. The long sandy beaches at Woolacombe and Saunton and the truly stunning coast lines around Combe Martin, Heddons Mouth and Lynton are only a short drive away. Wonderful moorland and coastal walks, horse riding, bike hire, kayak hire and boat trips are all available within a few miles radius, and Exmoor Zoo is just an 8 minute drive. NOTE: ONLY BYRE AND WOODRUFF HAVE HOT TUBS
