Travel Purpose: business
Positive: PERFECT location for the beach, just a walk out of the front door. Plenty of room in the space for my family of five. Even had a private Solarium! Great location for excursions to other places on the island (Palermo, Valley of the Temples, Syracuse, etc…). Plenty of restaurants, cafes, and gelato shops just steps away. Road shut down at night for walking, biking, scootering down the strip. Small carnival about a block away. Hosts were responsive, accommodating, and fun to chat with. Hosts took us to the Tuesday street market (biggest we saw over the 7 day stay, highly recommend) which had an abundance of Sicilian products. Overall the location made my overall vacation an even better experience!
Negative: Parking was inconvenient at times due to ZTL but overall not a huge problem. Street parking available behind the apartment and parking garage 50m away (was free when we stayed).
Summary: Great location, great hosts, great stay!
