THE HOME Welcome to Holiday Shores Retreat on beautiful Lake Martin! Holiday Shores Retreat is perfect for gatherings of all sizes including family vacations, Auburn football games, religious retreats, girls weekends, or almost any other reason to gather with a group at the lake. The 3,900 square foot home sits on a beautiful deep-water cove directly on Lake Martin and features 7 large bedrooms (2 master suites) with 4 full baths. MAIN FLOOR The great room offers panoramic views of the Lake, with an open-concept kitchen, living room with a large TV, wood-burning fireplace, and a waterfront dining room with seating for 8, plus 4 bar stools at the large island. The chef’s kitchen provides plenty of counter space, a French-door refrigerator with party tray drawer and freezer below, dishwasher, double oven, and microwave. The main floor has 5 bedrooms, all with ceiling fans (1 en-suite Master with king bed & TV, 3 queen bedrooms, 1 bunk-bed), and 2 bathrooms: Master Bath has Jacuzzi tub, large glass shower, and dual vanities; second bath is a hallway bath with shower/tub combination and full vanity. Full laundry room with full size washer & dryer, plus extra storage on the main floor. LAKE LEVEL Lower level boasts an entertainment room, complete with pool table, second gourmet kitchen with microwave, oven and fridge/freezer, flat screen TV, wood-burning fireplace. Lake Level porch has Adirondack chairs and gas grill. This level also has a Queen bedroom with beautiful lake views, and a full bath (shower and vanity). LOFT The upstairs suite provides the second Master, with lake views on both sides (the home sits on a point, so you can see water in all directions). The bedroom has a canopy king bed, TV, 3 piece bath (shower & pedestal sink), and private sitting area perfect for a nap or a quiet cup of coffee to start the day. OUTDOOR The outdoor living areas feature 2 covered porches on both the main and lake levels (grill on lake level porch). The deep-water pier can dock up to 2 boats and provides the perfect place to soak up some sun. There is a boat ramp located beside the dock. The peaceful sunrises and colorful sunsets over the water are spectacular, from either pier or porch. THINGS TO DO THE LAKE Lake Martin provides over 45,000 acres of clear water for swimming, boating, fishing, snorkeling and water sports and also boasts 750 miles of shoreline. Popular Chimney Rock is just minutes away by boat. GOLF There are a total of 5 courses nearby, including 3 along the Robert Trent Jones Trail. The popular Stillwaters Golf Course is just 5 minutes away. OTHER Looking for something else to do? Visit Stables at Russell Crossroads for horseback trail rides across the ridge, peruse the many antique shops throughout the Lake region, or visit Horseshoe Bend National Park.
