This lovely 18th century villa with swimming-pool in Val d’Orcia is located near Pienza, surrounded by the gently rolling hills of this magnificent countryside.
This tastefully furnished villa can comfortably accommodate up to 15 people and consists of 2 large sitting rooms, 2 fully equipped kitchens and one dining room.
There are six double bedrooms (of which 1 can be made up as twin), 2 single bedrooms (of which one can be converted into a small twin bedroom) and 8 bathrooms (2 with Jacuzzis, 3 with large shower and 3 with double shower heads).
At guest’s disposal also a large room for yoga, t’ai chi ch’uan and pilates with bathroom and dressing room. The villa offers air-conditioning in all the rooms, Sat Tv, internet wi-fi connection, and all comfort and facilities.
Outside there is a large garden fully equipped with outdoor furniture and barbecue for dining alfresco and a lovely 22x4 m (open Apr to Oct) saltwater swimming-pool, of which 6 meters are indoors; bathroom at the swimming pool area.
This villa is in an ideal location both for those wishing to spend a quiet and pleasant vacation in the countryside, far from the madding crowd, and for those who have cultural and art interests with Montepulciano at 10 km, Montalcino at 22, Cortona at 40km and Siena at 50 km. Nearby the ancient spa towns of Bagno Vignoni (15 km) and San Filippo. The surrounding farm estates offer the possibility of cheese, wine and olive oil tastings. The nearest shops and restaurants are in Pienza at 6 km.
