Isola is situated on Lake Sils, in the middle of the Engadine mountains and their wonderful nature. Here you can enjoy the peace and quiet or the numerous hiking routes and excursion possibilities. In winter, the cross-country ski trail is right on the doorstep.
The Stalla Capre used to be a goat stable. Today it is a cosy holiday home, furnished with lots of old wood and an open gallery. All the rooms are top-furnished, the house has modern underfloor heating and even a spacious storage room for sports equipment in the basement.
All year round you can reach Stalla Capre on foot from Maloja in about 40 minutes.
In summer by car, you need about 10 minutes from Maloja to Isola.
From June to October it is also possible to reach Isola by boat via the Silsersee in about 20 minutes.
In winter Isola is completely car-free and can only be reached on foot.
From about the middle of December there is also the possibility to reach Isola with cross-country skis. As soon as the lake is frozen, it can also be passed on foot or with cross-country skis. This is usually possible from mid-December until the end of March from Plaun da Lej in about 25 minutes.
