Villa Vindåsen (The Windridge) was built 1908 by a wealthy Helsingborg mearchant as his families summerhouse nearby the Sea. Still today it nestles on the edge of a ridge overlooking River Rönne with a view down to the Bay of Skälderviken, the first Bay on Sweden's Westcoast. Skälderviken Bay is a fairly vast bay with wide, sandy beaches on its shore. Across the Viken one can see Kullaberg, a beautiful nature reserve with steep cliffs and a romantic forest stretching towards the famous lighthouse.
Within 5-10 min you will be at the Beach by bike. With 15-30 min other beaches around Skälderviken can be reached. Helsingborg is 20 min by highway. A 15 min ferry trip carries you to Helsingor in Denmark. Copenhagen is from there a 35 min trainride. On the Swedish side the famous university city of Lund, as well as Malmö are some 45 min away by car.
The house has only had 4 owners since it has been built and all have kept its unique charme and feel. Yet it carries a number of modern amenities with a well equiped kitchen as well as modern bathrooms with floor heating. The rooms have all new beds and offer good space. Balconies, a lower garden terrace and wintergarden complete the ambiente.
