Silver Howe View Cottage is a large 4 bedroom (3 are Super Kingsize & 1 Kingsize), 4 bathroom's. The house is located in the grounds of Bridge House Hotel which has just had a multi-million pound redevelopment and refurbishment operated by The Inn at Grasmere, secluded in a private spot with the river Rothay running through the gardens. The house has breath-taking views from all windows of the fells and river Rothay and the gardens are the perfect sun trap. This property is great for family gatherings and get together's, with its cosy open log fire, smart TV,s, spacious bedrooms.
As part of the property you will be able to use the swimming pool, sauna, gym at The Inn at Grasmere just a two minute walk away. You can also book a table at our 1769 Bar & Restaurant. Keys for the Cottage are collected from Bridge House Hotel reception.

Summary: We had such a lovely Christmas at Silver Howe Cottage. The house is beautiful and having a lovely Christmas tree and an open fire really added to the stay. There is a great Kitchen with everything you need and the lounge is a cosy and well appointed room for the whole family to get together in. The bedrooms are huge and with 3 ensuites it was great for our extended family. The only negative point I had is the sofabed mattress is broken with the springs coming through so if you are planning on using that just check with the host that it’s been replaced. Otherwise and excellent property and we would definitely stay again.
