Positive: We very much enjoyed staying in the Palazzo Mariscotti. It is a historical house, as you can see in the pictures, with beautiful details and a lot of soul. The rooms are large and airy, with period furniture and decoration. The renovations are ongoing and with eye for detail. The private swimming pool is a huge advantage of this house, we spent many hours there cooling down, and the view from the pool area is absolutely gorgeous with vineyards and hills. The kitchen is large and has 2 fridges, a freezer and an oven. 3 bedrooms have airconditioning.
Negative: A historic house both means it is very charming and authentic, but you have to take in account weak electricity, internet and a small amount of plugs e.g. in the kitchen. The bathrooms were clean but old fashioned even though works on a new bathroom are ongoing. For a house of this capacity we found that there could have been more cutlery, glasses etc as we regularly ran out.
