Positive: The gite was spacious and in a fantastic location to explore the beautiful towns and countryside by car. The two of us loved sitting in the gorgeous garden in the evening with wine, food and candles! Our dog loved it too though a little confused about pony next door! Only used to cat next door at home! Lonlay l'Abbaye a 15 minute walk away with Store, Boulangerie, Boucherie and Tabac/Bar. We didn't try brasserie there but enjoyed visiting bar for a little pre-dinner glass. Great value - we loved our holiday and owners kind and helpful. Vets also close by if necessary for certification before return to UK. We would definitely return.
Negative: All was great. Having to leave was sad!
Summary: Spacious and homely gite in a great location to enjoy beautiful surrounding countryside.
