Positive: Great old family house at the beach. This is not a plain, modern vacation box house. It has history and a GREAT yard. The yard is beautiful and large. Most important it has a tall hedge to shelter the yard from the coastal winds and to provide privacy. The host was kind and very helpful.
Negative: The property is managed by a company in Zurich, I believe. We asked several times through Booking.com, over many months for linen and towel sets, since we didn't travel with them on the plane. We were told yes, it was taken care of. Then months later we were asked if we wanted them. Then several other confusing boiler plate business messages. When we arrived the host had heard nothing about our request. The hosting company is not professional or competent. But the host cheerfully provided exactly what we needed.
