The holiday apartments belong to a country house surrounded by olive groves and orchards.
The country estate the owners live on and that has two holiday apartments comprises two stone houses and an ancient farmhouse with two further holiday apartments. A washing machine is available for shared use.
The outdoor areas are extensive and are for the shared use of all guests. The pool has an area with massage jets. Next to the pool there are terraces and gazebos with tables and chairs. There is a children’s play area in the pine grove and there is also a tennis court. You can borrow rackets, but you will need to bring tennis shoes. You can park cars on site near the apartments. Apart from a big, shared, stone barbecue, there are also portable barbecues available, which can be used in the private outdoor areas.
Arrivals are from 15.00, departures by 11.00.
The site is about 500 metres from the rural locality of Merine, where you can find the most important services: a post office, a supermarket, a pharmacy, a bar. There are various good restaurants nearby, the nearest is opposite the entrance to the country house and so you can walk there. Lecce is just 5km away. From the country house it is quick and easy to get to the Adriatic, as well as the Ionian coast. The nearest beach is in the natural oasis of “Delle Cesine” and is a ten-minute drive away (6km). Those who would like to experience nature on horseback can go to the riding stables next to the country house.
The holiday apartment is in the ancient farmhouse on the site. It is on two levels. The lower level has a living room-kitchen with a sofa bed that can be converted into two single beds (80 x 190cm each), a dining table and a kitchen unit with a gas stove, a fridge and a microwave. There is also a bathroom with a shower, bidet and hairdryer. The gallery, with wooden flooring embellished with crystal insets, has a bedroom with a double bed (160 x 190cm). The bedroom has a characteristic vaulted ceiling and overlooks the lower level. The apartment has an LCD TV, heating and air conditioning (warm and cool).
