We are a full-service historic bed and breakfast, but we have the entire building listed here at rates reflecting a self-service option that gives you exclusive use of the entire facility - inside and out! If your group is smaller or if we have one or more rooms already booked, we can negotiate a special rate for just a portion of the facility - with or without breakfast. We are located in the heart of small town Excelsior, which is located on the south shore of Lake Minnetonka, just 20 miles from downtown Minneapolis and MSP international airport. In the short three-block walk to the lake, you will pass a dozen great restaurants, great shopping, antiques, a movie theater, a brew pub, a library and bookstore, ice cream, and more! Live theater, the University of Minnesota arboretum, Prince's Paisley Park Studio, more restaurants and shops are available nearby as well. We have seven bedrooms each with their own HDTV/DVD, five bathrooms (two with jacuzzi tubs), four gas fireplaces, kitchen, dining room, living room and library. There is a quiet deck and BBQ in back, and a large open porch and patio overlooking historic and vibrant Water St in front.
