The closest village Saché which is 3 kms away and former home to the illustrious19th century writer Balzac and contemporary American sculptor Calder has a boulangerie selling fine french bread plus the famous restaurant l’Auberge du 12 siecle There is also a post office , café and small market on Sundays.
