Positive: The kitchen and laundry facilities were great. We didn't have a toaster at first, but I sent a message to the owner, requesting one, and Michelle brought a new one to the door that night. Michelle is a very nice, kind and caring person. Queen bed was very comfortable, although a little too low for older people to get up from. The apartment had plenty of natural light coming in. Other people staying/living in the building were very polite and friendly. It's an easy walk to the nearby private hospital and there's an IGA and Domino's around the corner. We stayed at 3 different apartments in the CBD/Spring Hill area and this one was the best value by far being self contained and convenient to the hospital. If the issues noted in my dislikes are addressed, it'd be perfect.
Negative: The click clack type sofa bed was way too hard and too short to sleep on. A quality sofa bed and a higher Queen bed would be the top priority for the owner to invest in. The exhaust fan in the bathroom is very noisy and needs attention. A cloth and detergent for washing the dishes and a rubbish bag would be helpful. Please note there are 8 steps to climb to access the lift. Getting heavy suitcases up the steps is difficult.
