Positive: The property is conveniently situated a short distance down from the Palazzo Pitti on the historic Via Romana. If you continue past the palace you cross directly over the Ponte Vecchio to enter the city centre. If you prefer not to walk there is an excellent bus stop nearby and also a small supermarket and several adequate restaurants. The furnishings are basic but adequate and comfortable. The property also has 2 excellent balcony/patios with good views over the city and beyond. Unfortunately there is a price to pay for this view because access from the street to the apartment is via several flights of steep stairs up to the top floor of the building.
Negative: The stairs!!
