Tucked away on 10 wooded acres, this 4 bed 2 bath home has it all: Expansive private deck with recessed hot tub, chef’s kitchen, fire pit, rec room, small pond, stream, and woods to explore. Best of all, the location – in the heart of hocking hills: 5 miles to Ash Cave, 6 miles to Cedar Falls, 9 miles to Old Man’s Cave, and 3.5 miles to the esteemed Le Petit Chevalier Winery. Hiker’s Hideaway is family owned and operated and we grew up in the community.

This is our family getaway spot - we love it here! Siblings and co-hosts Sarah, Kate, and Phil grew up in Vinton County. Ellen (Mama L) is still a resident and lives nearby. Sarah and Kate now reside in Cincinnati (Who Dey!) and Phil is in Zanesville, Ohio.
We designed Hiker’s Hideaway to be our peaceful escape from the hustle & bustle. We have fond memories of growing up fishing in ponds, wading in creeks, exploring woods and wilderness often - this is what we wanted to recreate for our families. So when we found this property nearby to where we grew up with 10 acres, a pond, barn, and creek, we knew it was home.
