Plenty of room for you and your family! Located in North Houston, Casablanca is a little "ranch" in the big city – a hidden oasis! Minutes away from the major freeways, you can easily get to Downtown, the Galleria, the Heights, the Medical Center, and the Energy Corridor. PARTIES/EVENTS ARE NO LONGER PERMITTED! A party or event is defined as more than 6 guests on the property. On the two-acre property are two horses (which are kept in the adjacent pasture and are fun to look at!) and a barn cat who wanders the property. There are hawks and many other birds living in the woods behind us, and you can sometimes see wild bunnies in the horse pasture! The property is fully fenced and gated. The pool area is separately fenced. The private pool and spa can be heated. You must notify us ahead of time if you wish to utilize these. Pool heating costs $100, hot tub heating costs $50. The pool is at the back of the house, and there are no houses to either side or behind the pool - it's just you and the pool! An expansive back porch and deck features a built-in grill, wood burning fireplace, plenty of seating, chaise lounges, shade umbrellas, outdoor dining table, curtains, fans, outdoor speakers, pool waterfalls, a mosquito misting system. Inside the house, you will find a comfortable living room with a huge TV and fireplace, a full kitchen (complete with all the dishes, pots and pans, appliances, etc. you need!), 1 bedroom with a queen bed and a pull-out twin bed, 1 bedroom with 2 twin beds, 1 full bathroom with a shower, and 1 half bath. Many amenities are offered: organic coffee and tea, Puracy bath and body products, pool towels, pool floats and toys, goggles, sunscreen, robes, movies, games, adjustable, in-ground basketball goal (with ball) and more! Casablanca has a complete home water filtration system plus a reverse osmosis dispenser for drinking water (so you don't need to bring bottled water.) All of the major delivery services (Amazon Now, Uber Eats, Instacart, etc.) deliver, so you can have a staycation. Or you can venture out to one of the many local restaurants. Word of caution: Houston is not a quiet city. With no zoning laws, Houston has houses next to manufacturers. The one nearest us (about .1 miles from us behind the back of our 2 acre property) does produce background noise at times, but it has never been enough to ruin a good time or a good night’s sleep (we provide sound machines in both bedrooms.) Early check in is $100 if a guest is not checking out the same day as your arrival. Late check out is $100 if a guest is not checking in the same day as your departure. Ask for availability. Pets must be preapproved and are $100 per pet. Pets must be on a leash at ALL times when not in the house. Any questions, concerns, or special requests? Just ask!!!
