Our home is a wonderful peek into the rich history of Cotter, Arkansas while incorporating new amenities that we all enjoy! Apartment 3 (Right Door) has been decorated with a theme that my wife Kammi has dubbed “The River Den” Highlighting the beauty of the river that is a short walk from the front door. All the spaces have been meticulously decorated to be unique and welcoming, with our guest’s experience in mind. Come in, be our guests, and enjoy #PotterBlock!
Cotter’s history was centered upon the Railroad which once included the Roundhouse and many other industries that utilized the nearby White River to service their customers. Our home was built in 1921 and included two businesses below, with living quarters above. The home was given a face lift back in the 1970’s which provided many local residents with permanent housing for many years. When we purchased the home it was in need of major repair which has truly been a labor of love. After transitioning from the U.S. Army, my wife and I found our way back home to the community that loved and supported us for so many years.
