Only 4 minutes from exit 89, located about an hour away from Montreal in Ste-Agathe-Des-Monts, this cozy Canadian cottage was built in 1934 by Montreal architect Charles Tetley and has since been expanded and renovated a few times over with the latest major update done in 2017. The cottage overlooking Lac Brûlé features 4 bedrooms, 2 living areas, 2 full bathrooms and a formal dining room for 12, gazebo (summer only) and two working fireplaces and a pizza oven in the kitchen. The space is ideal for one or two families as there are 5 beds and 4 rooms. Any additional guests would have to sleep on one of the two inflatable mattresses in one of the common spaces (1x double and 1x single). You have access to the entire house and garage as well as the dock on the secondary lakefront property located right across the road on the lake in the spring, summer and fall. The rental also comes with complimentary access to a canoe, a kayak and a pedal boat. A fully equipped fishing boat is also available for an additional cost. The cottage is located only 10 minutes away from downtown Ste-Agathe where you'll find all the conveniences of the big city (Walmart, IGA, Metro, Canadian Tire, most major banks). The largest hospital in the Laurentians is also only 5 minutes away. There are 3 convenience store/gas stations a short 3 minute drive away. Mont-Blanc is a 15 minute drive, while Mont St-Sauveur and Mont-Tremblant are both 25 minutes away. The lake access is located across the road from the main property. The boathouse is currently used for storage only and is not accessible, although the property around it, the deck on the water as well as the dock is always accessible by guests.
