Hemlock Hideaway is a privately owned, picturesque, updated, real log cabin at an elevation of 3600 feet and is surrounded by our beautiful woods. Private, quiet, and serene...this is as good as it gets. The cabin has one bedroom with a queen sized bed and a loft with two twin beds. Enjoy the peaceful sounds and hike the many streams and waterfalls around or, just relax in a rocking chair or the swing on the front porch and enjoy the scenery.
Built in 1992, Hemlock Hideaway has been updated with all modern amenities from the kitchen to the bathroom. There's also a wood burning fireplace, gas grill, and a smart TV with Roku. Stay with us and you'll feel far from it all yet be conveniently right in the center of Maggie Valley and the festival grounds which hosts many events throughout the year. We're also close to Cataloochee Ranch for hiking and horseback riding and skiing in the winter; Waynesville for Main St shopping, dining, and events; Smoky Mountain National Park for hiking and elk viewing; Cherokee for its history and the casino; and Asheville for dining and entertainment with the AVL Regional Airport only 45 minutes away.
