Travel Purpose: leisure
Positive: Lucie was super welcoming and I loved her passion for helping out rescue dogs in Sri Lanka. We were accompanied by at least 2 dogs at all times 💕 Lucie helped with booking a taxi for us multiple times and was easy to reach. The house is clean and the bed comfortable, however there were a lot of mosquitoes in the house. Luckily there were plenty of supplies to protect yourself, and being in the forest close to a lake it might be expected but it was one of the places where we had the most mosquitoes. When booking make sure to check which apartment you get as there seem to be two. We stayed in the newest one which needs a bit of work still (though it has all the important commodities) but I’m pretty sure that in time they will make it a lovely place to stay. It wasn’t a problem for us as we were there to attend a wedding nearby, but it can sometimes be a bit confusing on booking.com to see what you actually are booking. Overall a great stay when in ahangama!
