The comfortably furnished holiday house HIPPOKAMP with private pool is located in a quiet dead end at the edge of the town of Xiropigado, close to the sea. The spacious holiday house was renovated in 2011, stretches over 2 floors and offers plenty of room and adequate comfort for a relaxing holiday. The completely enclosed and well-maintained garden property is in a sight hillside situation, partly terraced and directly above the sea and is ideal for families with small children.
The large living-/dining room with several sitting areas is on elevated ground floor, adjacent to the spacious and perfectly equipped open kitchen with a counter and direct access to the covered front terrace, 1 bedroom, 1 bath and a storeroom. A beautiful wooden staircase leads to the upper floor. From the hallway there is direct access to the terrace with a wonderful sea view. An additional fridge with freezer compartment is placed in the hallway for the convenient supply on the terrace. 3 bedrooms and 1 shared marble bathroom are on the same floor. An external staircase on the side of the terrace leads to the roof terrace of the holiday house that offers a fantastic sea view up to the opposite coast of Argolida. There is a 65 sqm freshwater pool (14 x 7 to 4m wide, depth from 0,70 to 1,5m, not heated, in operation from 1.05.-31.10.) for refreshment and bathing. Many Mediterranean plants, palm and olive trees provide the necessary shade. A beautiful roofed terrace with a BBQ is close the pool at the fringe of the property and makes the holiday house perfect. Behind the house there is a giant chessboard for playing in the open.
Directly beneath the holiday house, after 100m you get to a small bathing bay (gravel) via some steps. After a couple of 100 m walking distance you get to the center of the village Xiropigado. On the beach promenade are many taverns and Cafés and there are sunbeds available on the beach.
The beautiful holiday house HIPPOKAMP is suitable for a relaxing bathing holiday with family and friends, but it is also an ideal starting point for excursions to the antique sites of Peloponnese. The famous theatre of Epidavros, Schliemann´s excavations in Mycenae and the remains of the palace of Tyrins are close destinations. The beautiful ancient city Nafplion is only some kilometers away.
