Getting Around:
Car, bike, or walk within the community. You will need a car to go anywhere outside of the community. Uber and taxi cabs are available in the area, but can have long wait times or be difficult to find.
We strongly recommend that you travel in an AWD/4WD vehicle. We are located in the mountains and roads tend to be sloped and can get very icy.
Other Things to Note:
The rental agreement will be sent to you once the reservation is accepted. Your booking is only confirmed once it is signed. Kindly complete it within 24 hours to secure your reservation. If not signed within the deadline, your booking may be cancelled with no refund.
Guests are REQUIRED to register online with Winona Lakes no less than 2 days from the arrival date. A registration form will be sent to you that must be filled out immediately. There is no fee for registration.

Wander Home requires that all guests have their profile 100% verified. Please upload government issued ID and payment method in your account settings, as well as sending us a photo of your ID after booking confirmation.
Dog fee is $150 per dog. Please let us know how many dogs you intend to bring so we can properly vet and send the appropriate request for payment.
For non-Airbnb reservations ONLY, any eligible refunds are subject to a 6% processing fee & adding the damage waiver fee ($50) is mandatory. This fee will be added to the reservation once confirmed.
Given the rural setting of the property, occasional sightings of ants, spiders, flying insects, and mice may occur despite our year-round pest control efforts. We strive to manage these encounters to the best of our ability, but cannot guarantee that the house will be completely pest free.
Weekly trash collection from the shed is on Wednesdays.
● The pool is typically heated to 80 degrees but we can not guarantee that the heater will be operational during your stay. Turning the temp up will result in additional fees. The pool is serviced weekly on Fridays.
When drought, weather or other conditions present an unusual fire risk, a burn ban may be imposed by the community without prior notice.
NOTE: We provide enough essential items to cover stays of about 2-3 nights. If you need more supplies during your stay, you can visit one of the following nearby stores: Super Foodtown, Price Chopper, Weis Markets, & CVS
We do our best to ensure there is propane available for grills and/or fire pits, but cannot guarantee there will be propane for use throughout your stay. If all available tanks are empty, we ask that you refill a tank and provide a receipt for reimbursement. Note: be sure to refill/replace the existing tanks - do not purchase a brand new tank

We are here for you during your stay, but our level of interaction is up to you. We are only a phone call or message away. You and your party will be able to self check-in upon arrival.
Please remember that you are staying in a house, not a hotel. Please treat the space with respect. If any problems arise we will do our best to take action ASAP, but there is no one living on-site 24/7.
