The first impression of this 3 storey villa is that of a colonial style mansion with pillars either side of
the impressive double door entrance and once inside you won’t be disappointed.
Entering at ground level you will cross the entrance hall in to a spacious and sumptuous living room,
it is fresh and airy reflecting light from the walls, the outside comes in through floor to ceiling
windows and the views over the gardens from this level are quite beautiful. The interiors throughout
the villa are fresh, comfortable and inviting with furnishings in neutrals and nuances of blue. A
separate dining room is set ready to serve 10 guests.
Start each day with breakfast overlooking the pool on the ground level or beside the pool on the
lower level before moving to the sun loungers for some serious sunbathing - and when you get too
hot, simply move back inside to air conditioned rooms to read, surf or nap, or simply catch up on
your favourite English TV channels. Sky Sports is available and the WIFI is free and fast, supporting
any number of devices!
Air conditioning is installed in all rooms for maximum comfort.
The kitchen is fully equipped, contemporary and with granite work surfaces, a central island for
cooking allows enough space around it for more than one to prepare food. The kitchen also has two
American-style fridges with ice on tap and plenty of space to stock up during your stay, for lovers of
cooking there are even two ovens.
There are 3 bedrooms on the ground level, a double bedroom and a twin, both with en-suite
bathroom and a twin bedroom which may be useful to keep younger children close by.
Moving up to the first floor you will find the master suite, complete with walk-in wardrobe, its own
terrace overlooking the pool and gardens, the en-suite bathroom with ‘his and hers’ hand basins

All bedrooms have air conditioning / heating and televisions. And as a final extravagance the mirrors
in all bathrooms are heated so that steam does not restrict your view.
But it’s the lower level where the real surprises begin; the purpose built Home Spa incorporates a
fully equipped gym, sauna, steam room and a 4x8m indoor pool with a relaxation area and table
tennis. This leads on to the outdoor pool terrace with dining area and BBQ. Also on this lower level is
a further twin bedroom with en-suite bathroom, a laundry room and a wet room.
Strolling to the central Encosta do Lago reception area you will find a poolside café and bar, it takes
just five minutes on foot to get there and hook up with other guests. If you want to keep trim while
enjoying your stay speak to Marco at the gym, you can use the gym free of charge, or for a small fee
join in with his classes or private training sessions. There are also massage rooms to help de-stress
and relax. And for the evening Tucano’s restaurant with its pool views offers a variety of
Mediterranean style fish and meat dishes.
