"Foley Island" Escape and get away from it all to your OWN PRIVATE ISLAND! Bring or rent your boats, kayaks, paddleboats or use the Island row boat to enjoy your waterfront living with a full dock system. The island is great for a large family or two families who want to vacation together but want some privacy as well. The island boasts a private swimming area with a sundeck out over the water. On the Island there are two cottages both with two bedrooms, living room, kitchen and 3/4 bath. Cottage 1: the bedrooms have a queen in one room & the other with 2 sets of bunks & trundle bed. There is also a very large country kitchen with tons of counter space and a table that can easily seat 8 - 10. Cottage 2: the bedrooms have 1 full bed & the other twin over full bunk & pullout queen sofa in living room. The bunk house has 2 sets of bunks with no bath. Outside enjoy the serenity of the island right from the chairs on the dock. Enjoy sitting around the chimenea. There is a large outdoor picnic area with 3 picnic tables and a grill. You can easily host a BBQ for 15-20 people. You are minutes from the public beach (to put your boat in the water)and Trexler's Marina. The dock holds up to 2 boats total 42'. Mainland parking for 4 cars at the lot next to 50 Watson Shore Rd. The island is only 200 feet from the mainland private dock for the island. 1 row boat provided. Bring your boat (s) and put in the water at public boat launch off the Long Island bridge which is only yards away from Foley Island. Gas grill. No phone & No Cable, but we do have electric, running water (not potable), and a flat screen TV with DVDs. Rentals during the summer are Sat to Sat. Please inquire about other times during off season.
