Hatton Lodge is set in beautiful well kept yet established grounds totalling 7 acres. To the front of the property,the raised decking and patio overlook a small lake which is home to a family of ducks and many other wildlife. At the rear of the property there is a breathtaking view of the extensive hillside and surrounding Glen. The Fallow Deer are on view everyday alongside, pheasants, and red squirrels. At night with very little artificial light the stars are often very bright and the owls calling remind you are in the heart of beautiful Perthshire countryside. The four star accommodation comprises of One Double bedroom with ensuite, one twin room with TV/DVD player suitable for adults and children alike, main bathroom with shower facilities, large open plan kitchen dining area with full mod cons including dishwasher, washing machine, microwave oven, fridge freezer, electric hob and oven. The dining room has freeview TV, radio/dock and ample room for four people to sit and dine. The upstairs of the property comprises of a cosy combed lounge with extremely comfortable sofas, smart tv with freeview, cd player/doc for music, blue ray dvd player. Externally the raised patio provides outdoor seating, bbq area with stairs leading to a separate patio with table and chairs for alfresco dining. The lodge has doorstep access to wonderful walk or cycle routes and a forest to explore. There are also extensive bridal paths for those who may want to bring a Horse. ( This can be discussed further via email or phone) Despite the sense you are in the heart of the country side Hatton Lodge is only 4mins by car to the centre of Dunkeld. The village of Dunkeld is approximately 2.5 miles away. Dunkeld and Birnam is one of the best preserved historic towns in Scotland, while around it is a fantastic choice of walks and rides in breathtaking surroundings. At the same time it is also a dynamic community, with a lively arts and music scene, great places to eat or spend the evening in, quality independent shops and galleries and the most recent addition of 'bake offs' Flora Sheddens bakery. Dunkeld Train Station has free parking and access both to the North, Aviemore Inverness, and South Perth, Glenrothes and Edinburgh and many more.
