PLEASE NOTE: The unit has been completely restored following the damage incurred by Hurricane Ian. A mold clearance test was received for the unit.
However, certain amenities (pool, pool building and hot tub) are not expected to be completed until the end of 2023. The beach (including new lounge chairs) has been fully restored for guest use. All the restaurants at the adjacent Marriott Hotel are available for guest use, however the pool, fitness center and tennis courts are available only for hotel guests.
The Harbour Tower is located on the Punta Rassa Peninsula near the entrance to the Sanibel causeway and adjacent to the Marriott Sanibel Harbour Resort. Come and enjoy this one-of-a-kind experience in beautiful SW Florida.
This ALL NEW custom renovated unit has been given a floor to ceiling makeover and with new beds and appliances and everything in between. The master bath has a custom shower with a barn style door and features a pebble tile floor which extends up the center of one wall. A custom makeup table with stool and mirror is located in the back of the master bathroom near the ventless washer and dryer and walk in closet. A pocket door out to the master bedroom displays a king size bed with a new near firm mattress. The living room is nicely appointed with new audio and video systems for your enjoyment. The sleeper sofa can be adjusted to lie flat or raise one end for relaxed bay watching. The dining room is complemented with dish cabinets next to the dining table and dimmable lighting to help set the right mood.
The guest bedroom now features a queen size near firm mattress with dual nightstands and lamps. The large bypass closet has plenty of room and contains some beach/pool toys for your enjoyment. The guest bath is a revitalized tub/shower combo with granite counters and brushed nickel accessories.
The kitchen is open, providing an unobstructed view of the boats passing by. The gorgeous granite countertops and unique spacious sink and kitchen faucet are a perfect complement to the new décor. All new Whirlpool stainless refrigerator, stove, microwave with ventless hood and stainless-steel tub dishwasher provide kitchen efficiency.
NOW you can look outside and enjoy the soothing sounds of waves lapping on the beach as boats pass by in the distance. .The spectacular views overlooking San Carlos Bay and Sanibel Island from you master bedroom, living room and dining room and private lanai. Dolphins and manatees occasionally make appearances in the mornings and evenings. This 2 bedroom/2 bath first floor unit is all you need for the perfect Southwest Florida vacation. The last mainland exit before the Sanibel island bridge is your oasis for beauty, beach, and amenities.
The Harbour Tower heated pool and hot tub are always popular and the grilling station at the opposite end of the building is convenient for grilling your favorite foods. Whether your idea of total relaxation is the beach, the pool, the spa, the fine food, or sitting on the lanai and watching the incredible sunsets that this area is exceptionally well known for, this unit can provide the level of comfort and convenience you deserve.
The nearby Marriott Sanibel Harbour Resort & Spa features six on-site restaurants and lounges within walking distance; the award-winning Courtside Steakhouse, The Tarpon House Restaurant, Charley's Cabana Bar, Palm Court Bakery, The Cove, and the Sanibel Harbour Princess (Dinner cruise aboard a 100 ft. luxury yacht). Summary: Location Great. Facilities Great. Fairly big issue was that the balcony doorwall lock was broken- and appeared to be broken for a long time. Asked that it be repaired ASAP. Property Mgr stated the doorwalls were old, and- long story short- they weren't going to fix them anytime soon. Their rational was that the unit was on the first floor and could not "easily" be accessed from the ground (no consideration of access from side units). Nothing on the listing indicated locks were compromised, and then by definition, is safety. We did agree on my interim solution of a bike lock to wrap around door handles. Other than this concern, we did have a great time. I would go back, but bring my own BIKE CHAIN. When renting anything, ASK whether locks work!!!!
