Happy Holiday Cabin on Lake Nosbonsing. Located 20 minutes south of North Bay. A Northern Ontario retreat for couples, families & fishing enthusiasts. Cabin is fully equipped with basic amenities, 2 bedrooms with double beds, full kitchen, living room & a half bathroom with sink & toilet. A common shower house is located just steps away from the cabin. You get your own private yard, fire pit & dock. There’s a boat launch located on the campground if you’re keen to do some serious fishing. Lake Nosbonsing is a beautiful lake. It’s great for fishing but also a nice lake to relax, lay out & take a swim on a nice day. You’ll often find local residents taking advantage of the hot summer days by boating, tubing or water skiing. Relaxing at night by a warm camp fire is the perfect way to end the day. The cabin is clean, cozy & has a beautiful lake view with gorgeous sunrises & sunsets. The cabin is located on a shared campground with 18 other cabins. Some public areas are shared amongst all residents of the campground. There's a potential to interact with other guests and pets. The rental cabin, yard, fire pit & dock are all private to the individual renter. A common shower house is located just steps away that’s available to all guests in the various cabins on the campground. The shower house is thoroughly cleaned regularly and has tones of hot water. There’s a sandy volleyball court and horseshoe pit in the outdoor common areas of the camp that guests have full access too. I live in my own cabin on the same campground. I’m available to text, call or if there’s any concern can come right over to help with anything needed. For the most part I will give guests their privacy & will only be around if there’s a question or concern. Unfortunately the cabin is not wheelchair accessible. There’s 4 stairs leading up to the front door. The cabin itself is one floor with no additional steps. Pets are welcome however there’s a $40 pet cleaning fee. All dogs must be contained to the yard at all times and leashed while walked. Owners are responsible for picking up after their dog. If there’s any damage to the cabin or yard from a dog, dog waste left on the ground or there are any complaints from neighbours that dogs are loose running around there will be an additional $40 fee that will be taken out of the damage deposit. Additionally if any guests are caught sneaking pets in without paying the pet cleaning fee then a $100 fee will be taken out of the damage deposit. Please inform me if you are bringing any pets to arrange payment of the pet cleaning fee. There is no Wi-Fi, cable TV or Netflix available in the cabin. There’s a TV & a DVD player with a small DVD library available for guests to watch. Fire pit located just outside of cabin. If you’d like to have a campfire you can purchase firewood for $20 a wheelbarrow load. Pay with cash per load. 16 foot Misty River with 15 HP motor boat rental available for an additional $75 a day + gas. Must have boat operators license to rent. Adult size life jackets and safety kit are provided. Pay with cash upon arrival. Canoe or peddle boat rental available for an additional $40 a day, $60 a weekend or $140 a week. Adult size life jackets and safety kit are provided. Pay with cash upon arrival. I recommend you bring your own bottled drinking water. The water in the cabin is pumped directly from the lake & although it’s filtered it is not suitable for human consumption. I provide one case of bottled drinking water but always recommend you bring your own as well.
