We have a Beautiful wood cabin in the foothills of Lookout Mountain on Johnson Creek with beautiful lake views! The cabin is on over 2 acres lot at the Preserve on Lookout Mountain Resort in Rising Fawn, GA. We are just 35 minutes from downtown Chattanooga, but located in the mountains for a quiet retreat! Half Moon is a 3600 sq ft cabin that can sleep 12-14 people. There are 3 bedrooms and 3.5 baths. There are 3 levels, including the main level, upstairs and full basement. The cabin features 2 full kitchens and living rooms, one on the main level AND one in the basement. There are 2 TVs and DVD players in the living rooms (no TVs in the bedrooms). The king master suite is located on the main level along with the washer and dryer and additional half bath. You will find 2 king bedrooms, a full bath, and including a sitting area upstairs. In the basement, there are bunk beds, a full living room, kitchen and pool table! There are also 4-5 mattresses with plenty of space for extra quests. Look at the pictures and you will love what you see! If Half Moon Hill is booked, we have another, smaller possibility. It is VRBO# 443537 The cabin is decorated with a true classic rustic and western style! Located on a 2800 acres Preserve, providing peaceful settings and a private atmosphere. Renting the cabin gives you access to multiple fishing lakes that back up to Johnson Lake. There are miles of hiking possibilities and creeks. We are 40 minutes from downtown Chattanooga, the Tennessee Aquarium, Rock City and Ruby Falls. We are 15 minutes from Cloudland Canyon State Park and many more outdoor activities! We are 20 minutes from Mentone. Please note - there is NO WIFI or internet access at the cabin. Most guests get cell service and are able to access the data on their phones. This is a very quiet and peaceful setting, a short drive away from the main road. The cabin is in a secluded location - the perfect spot to "get away from it all." **Due to the secluded nature of the cabin, this is not an ideal choice for medically fragile guests. While EMS is available, it takes a while for them to get to the cabin. The closest hospital is CHI Memorial Hospital in Fort Oglethorpe, GA (35 miles away). Fees: Cleaning fee - $150 NO pets allowed Booking Policy: Reservations must be made at least 5 days in advance. Please make sure you read the description carefully. Refunds will not be issued for details covered in the description. Cancellation Policy: You may cancel you reservation up until 30 days prior to check-in, and receive a 100% refund. Should you need to cancel your reservation for any reason within 30 days of check-in, you will not receive a refund. However, you will be able to reschedule your reservation for a later date at no additional charge.
