HACIENDA ALEGRE
Hacienda Alegre is a large two-acre estate in a gated community that has three houses and unobstructed, sweeping waterfront views. It is ideal for adult gatherings, reunions, and business / yoga or surf retreats.
There is a 5-bedroom main house, a 3-bedroom guest house, and a 2-bedroom pool house surrounded by two acres of lush gardens (very tranquil). The Hacienda can accommodate up to 18 people but we only allow groups up to 12 to ensure ample space for everybody and the best quality of service.
Enjoy your own private swimming pool and tennis court on this beach-front property. The surfing right in front of the house is legendary!
Hacienda Alegre is located in the gated community of Punta del Burro, 40 minutes north of Puerto Vallarta and 5 minutes south of Punta Mita.

THE EXPERIENCE:
Hacienda Alegre is a 2-acre nature experience with the main house overlooking the beach with sweeping, uninterrupted views east to Puerto Vallarta against a backdrop of mountains around the horseshoe-shaped Bay of Banderas. To the west, you look along the rugged coastline towards the Pacific Ocean.
Surfing is a daily delight. The sunsets (and cocktail hour) are magical from the large patio. During the winter and early spring, the bay is visited by whales, dolphins and other interesting sea characters. Every day, summer or winter, the lines of pelicans gliding above the ocean waves never cease to amaze.

We welcome non-smokers and no pets. We do not encourage bachelor groups and weddings as we try to keep Hacienda Alegre a relaxing nature retreat.
All bedrooms and common areas have ceiling fans and/or air-conditioning; all bedrooms have decks/patios overlooking gardens and/or ocean views, and ensuite bathrooms.

Policies:
-- Adults-only unless pre-approved by owner. Babies in arms are OK.
--Payment: 50% deposit at time of rental booking; the balance to be paid no later than 60 days prior to the start of rental period.
--Cancellation policy: No refunds. Credit issued for alternative future bookings, subject to availability.
-- Security Deposit: Rental agent to hold US$1,000 security deposit in case of damages to the property caused by renters. This deposit is returned by the rental agent to renters after their stay.
-- Property manager / Concierge can be contacted by phone or email to assist with arrival and departure arrangements and assistance in all other renters' needs.
- Chef Services are mandatory and not included in rental fee. Daily charges are dependent on the number of guests.
Staff will take customer’s laundry off-site (additional cost).
