Marble countertops, premium Viking stainless steel appliances, and convenient wine rack make the chef's kitchen a wonderful place to prepare vacation meals. The nearby dining area features a beautiful round wood table and upholstered seating for six guests, with additional seating on the nearby balcony. Guests will find the gorgeous living area to be a relaxing place to unwind, with a large flat-screen television, lavish furnishings, and peaceful coastal decor.

Summary: Ended up being a bit tight for 7 people, and yes the beach is not as easy to get to as you might wish, but overall great place to stay. The view was amazing (especially on our last night with an intense thunderstorm and lightning--so great to sit on the balcony and watch!). The pools in the community are very nice and not overcrowded at all. The neighborhood is very quiet and peaceful, and I think that's the plus or the thing you're paying for that is unique to Watersound. The kitchen was pretty small, very limited dishes and cooking equipment. But it was enough for our needs. Comfortable beds, nice bathrooms... The only real negative was that it's not really rental by owner, where you can get in touch with the actual owner of the property. Going through 360 Blue is a different experience. They have a huge number of properties to keep up with, couldn't tell me if we would be able to check in early or not because they had no way of knowing... and turned out we couldn't even check in until a few hours late because the cleaning had run behind schedule. Ended up being okay but it's just not the same VRBO experience that you get when dealing directly with owners. They did leave some fun welcome gifts though!
