Summary: We have stayed at Romar House just about every year for last 10 plus years for our anniversary in Nov and sometimes during summer. We love the complex, the private beach, the patios but this unit 503A was not one we will ever choose again. Check in was good but then it started before we even arrived. We were notified of plumbing issue with one toilet (there are two in unit). Plumber contacted and will be out today. Daily we were kept informed that he was coming but never showed up. After we checked in and unloaded we noticed the kureg coffee pot did not work but there was another type coffee pot. There was some mold in master shower, master toilet which is not the one the plumber was called for, moved around when you used it. Every bed and sofas, bar stools, dining chairs HARD as a Rock. We were so uncomfortable! There were two small swivel chairs without arms in living room that were a little softer that I put bed pillow on back of them to have some sort of comfort. The patio furniture was another issue. The counter high hard table and chairs were good BUT the cushioned chairs and love seat had molded cushions that we did not want to sit on. I let them sun a while and took sheets for beds we were not using and put over the molded cushions. We enjoyed the location of Romar House, as always but would not recommend this unit unless you like hard beds and furniture and molded cushions. We use to stay in same unit for years but she sold it.
