If you want to discover the beautiful South Limburg region, this might be te accommodation for you. The stables of a former farmhouse have been converted into fine holiday accommodation. The characteristic large arched windows (former stable doors) create a bright large open living space. At the back, you have a private garden with BBQ facilities from where you have a lovely view over the meadows. You can meet other guests in the courtyard, where chickens scratch around happily too
Many guests come here because of the beautiful hiking and touring routes and the many excursions possible from this central 'three-country point'. It is a true Eldorado here with e.g. the Savelsbos, the Voerstreek and the Belgian Ardennes. A wonderful route by car, motorbike or bicycle is the Mergelland route, which leads through the hilly areas.
The well-known border triangle is also close by, as are the cities of Maastricht, Liège and Aachen. With the children, a summer trip to Funvalley Maastricht is great fun and in case you enjoy a sauna visit, Thermae 2000 is close by. A few kilometres away is the beautiful Eijsden Castle, which is great to combine with a delicious lunch or dinner on a lovely terrace overlooking the river Maas. There is also a tower in Mesch which offers a very nice view over the nature surrounding the village. During the summer months, you can also visit numerous folklore festivals.
