A wonderful 2 bedroom, 1 bath log cabin on 1 acre amid massive ponderosa pine trees in the heart of Greer, Arizona. Located off the main road in Greer AZ, nestled in the pines, the Hideaway is very secluded and only 200 yards from the Little Colorado River. This delightful mountain cabin accommodates up to 6 people with two (2) Queen beds and one (1) Queen Hide-A-Bed. Linens are included. The kitchen is very well equipped with all the essentials you need to make yourself at home! Amenities at the Hideaway cabin include a full kitchen with: Microwave Oven, Crock Pot, Blender, Coffee Maker, Toaster, Dinnerware, Stainless Steel Cookware, & Full Size appliances including a Dishwasher. Enjoy our rock fireplace, WiFi, DirecTv and DVD, Gas Barbecue Grill, Washer & Dryer. You will LOVE sitting on the front porch watching the deer go through your yard or enjoying a cool Greer afternoon from the swing in your front yard. At the end of our driveway is the beginning of the Greer walking path which allows you to explore "Downtown" Greer and an easy walk down to Molly Butler's or the Rendevous diner to get something to eat or drink. Fishing is very popular with the 3 Greer lakes and, of course, the Little Colorado River for fly fishing. Because Greer is at an altitude of 8250 feet, we have all the four seasons. Many people come up in October to see and experience the beautiful fall colors and the active wildlife. We are only 12 miles from the Sunrise Ski Resort Park which also offers great mountain biking and zip lining in the summer/fall in addition to the wonderful winter/spring skiing. The nearby communities of Springerville-Eagar, Pinetop-Lakeside and Show Low also offer many choices for shopping, dining and other activities. Greer offers some of the most picturesque hikes in the state and the start is right out your front door!
