This is truly a unique property on Lake Keowee. Originally purchased by the Greene family as a Boy Scout camp, Greene Lodge was designed with gathering and lake enjoyment in mind.
If you are looking for a cozy, traditional lakehouse with plenty of space for your group as well as an ideal mid-lake location close to Clemson University, Greene Lodge is your place. Greene Lodge is 1.5 acres of paradise located on Lake Keowee in South Carolina off of Highway 183 on East Cove Road. Located in a no-wake cove with a public boat ramp minutes away at Warpath Landing, our location is a true retreat that is still convenient to anything and everything you may need. We embrace the rustic feel while providing a clean, comfortable, and cozy space with all the standard modern amenities.
This delightful lake lodge is located approximately 10 miles from Clemson University's football stadium and all the excitement it has to offer. It is located approximately 15 minutes by boat or by car to the Lake Keowee Marina and famous Tiki Hut Restaurant on the water and is just 2 coves over (less than 2 miles by car) from the Lighthouse Restaurant on the water. Don't let the proximity to all the activity concern those who seek peace and quiet, though. Our lodge is located in a quiet, mostly-wooded cove that feels like a true get-away. From our two docks you can swim, fish or just sit and take in the view. We are conveniently located near the Sunset Marina where there are boat rentals, access to fuel on the water, and a store for supplies and bait. We have 2 kayaks, 2 paddleboards, and a canoe provided for your enjoyment. The stationary slide on our platform is always a hit! The 8-person hot tub is conveniently located on our lower deck, overlooking beautiful Lake Keowee. Our house is very child-friendly with a closet full of child-size life jackets as well as several baskets of toys for young children. We even have books for adults and children (and a book exchange: take one and leave one) located throughout the house. Two of the bedrooms have rocking chairs for rocking little ones to sleep. Each of the beds has high-quality bedding, so you can get a quality night's sleep in comfort.
While many of our guests want to come and unplug, we also have groups who gather to watch "the big game" and be near Clemson. Our home is perfect for any of those purposes. We have a wifi network to support streaming and those who may need quick internet access. We also have have the Deluxe Cable package Satellite package and 3 TVs available. A ping pong table, pool table, and arcade games are all located in lower level game room. A fire pit overlooking the water provides a perfect year-round spot for lounging and spending quality time with your favorite people. Our home is set up for all ages and interest levels to enjoy.
We have 2 levels of spacious back decking for lounging close to the house or enjoying an outdoor meal. A gas grill is provided for good ol' lakeside cooking. This home has an open floor plan, so guests can enjoy time together. Two large rock fireplaces (one in each of the gathering rooms) with gas logs add to the comfort and rustic feel of a true mountain lake getaway. The master bedroom and bath are located on the main floor. The master bedroom has a large sitting area with a jet tub that overlooks the beautiful emerald green waters of Lake Keowee. Two additional bedrooms, a full-size bathroom, the kitchen and a large gathering room are located upstairs as well. Downstairs, you will find 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and the terrace level gathering room. Overlooking the lake, we have a firepit to enjoy with your group.
This setting is so quiet and peaceful, you'll forget you're conveniently located within miles of numerous restaurants and grocery stores. Come see why Lake Keowee has become a favorite getaway!

**The owner's boat will be parked on the lift beneath the floating dock. Additional boat parking is available alongside the docks, and there are 2 available waverunner docks.
