This is a 4-bedroom, 3-bath house that sleeps 14. With a big yard & extraordinary views in the Animas Valley, across from Durango Hot Springs, 15 minutes to the Ski Resort & downtown, and 2 minutes to golf, river put-in, restaurants, and grocery store. Picture the day your spouse says you did well planning your trip.
The space
The best thing about our house is the peaceful outdoor areas. Whether winter or summer, you can relax and enjoy the Colorado views and Rocky Mountain air. Bring your pup and children and relax outside in the privacy of our big yard. Sit at the perfect bench and table to enjoy the morning coffee while looking at the red cliffs. In the evening, sip some red wine while watching the sunset. Then enjoy the warm fire, telling stories, and making each other laugh under the stars in the cool mountain air.
We are a 3-minute walk to the hot springs, 2 minutes from Dalton Ranch Golf course, close to the Animas River, 15 minutes from The Purgatory Ski resort, and 15 minutes to downtown. We are also close to countless trails to hike, bike, and explore the mountains.
We recently remodeled the other side and have 10 beds sleeping 16 people. We also added another Kitchen to accommodate larger groups who still want their own space. We know how important this can be.
Our house is equipped with everything you need: extra dishes, all the cooking supplies you need, plus storage containers, a blender, and even baby utensils and bowls. We also provide extra towels, pillows, and blankets. We also have a ping-pong table in the garage to keep you entertained for hours.

Summary: Really solid space to stay. Clean, convenient to Durango (~10 minutes) and Purgatory (~20 minutes). I would definitely stay here again if and when we come back into town!
