Waterfront There is a sandy beach, and the waterfront has a sandy bottom. Weeds are controlled by water mats on the lake bottom. Water is approximately 10' deep off the dock. The dock is in place year round.

Wye Marsh Wildlife Centre. The Wye Marsh Wildlife Centre is located on 3,000 acres of Provincially Significant Wetlands and woodlands. Visitors of all ages and abilities are encouraged to discover raptors & reptiles in the interpretive display hall, explore the hiking, cross country ski & snowshoeing trails, experience canoeing & kayaking on a guided tour through the marsh channels, visit the observation tower, floating boardwalks, waterfowl monitoring platform, wildflower gardens, the bee house and so much more. Beaches. Conveniently located near several great beaches - Balm Beach, Lafontaine Beach, and Tiny Beach are all within 15-20 minutes of the cottage.
Winter. This is the perfect location for winter getaways, offering nearby trails for snowmobiling trails, cross country skiing and snow shoeing. The Awenda Provincial Park is just minutes away, and offers 17 km of back country ski trails. If you prefer your trails to be groomed, Mountain View Ski Centre offers 35 km of groomed trails for cross country skiing and snowshoeing, with rentals. Ice fishing is also available nearby.
