Welcome to Bethany Beach, and to our beach house named Irish Blessing. Irish Blessing is located one and a half blocks from the Atlantic Ocean on the east side of Coastal Highway Route 1, so there are no highways or major roads to cross on your way to the beach. New construction in 2004 and professionally decorated, the house is well equipped for a comfortable and relaxing vacation. You will find the house large enough for multigenerational or multifamily vacations. We have also hosted golf groups, girl’s weekends, wedding showers and religious retreats. With two identical Master Bedroom Suites with King Size Beds along with four other bedrooms, the Blessing sleeps fourteen comfortably on premium bedding and mattresses. The inverted floor plan brings the Main Living Area to the third floor in order to capture the breezes and the ocean views. The open floor plan includes the Kitchen, Dining Room, Fireplace with Sitting Area and Game Table, and the Family Room. The galley style fully equipped Kitchen with granite counter topped center island with sink makes any cooking time a pleasure. Seating for 5 at the center island allows the chef to have company while preparing the meal. If you prefer, there is a four-burner gas grill out back. And the large maple Dining Room table seats 12, allowing plenty of room for meals, board games or poker night. Enjoy the 65" Smart HDR TV with Bose Surround Sound in the comfortable Family Room. Or connect your phone through the Bose and enjoy your favorite music and cocktail on the adjoining screened porch and deck. The house has high speed internet and a mesh Wi-Fi system. Climb the spiral staircase to the Crow’s Nest for beautiful ocean views, magnificent sunsets or private sunbathing. Covered and driveway parking can accommodate eight cars. An elevator makes hauling your suitcases and grocery bags up three flights of stairs a distant memory. And after a day at the beach, dual outside showers with lighting means your sandy toes are cleaner sooner. Park your car and walk or bike to the beach, boardwalk (featuring a bandstand with live music during the summer) and town center with its restaurants, specialty shops and ice cream parlors. Known as the Quiet Resort, Bethany Beach is family friendly and filled with ocean and bay water sports. The town has a good playground for children, miniature golf and a basketball court. If you choose, the immediate area offers many championship golf courses with even more courses located southwest near Ocean City MD.
